BHT3B compound setup

BHT3B compound setup
Been thinking about running compounds using my hx35/40 hybrid and a bht3b because of the cheap price of the bigger turbo but don't know if it would be worth it knowing that it's opposite rotation and it's harder setup to fabricate.. Would I just be better off going with a s400 even tho they're a lot more money?

a brand nnew box stock s400 is around $650 give or take. where as a brand new ht3b is about 400 through garret. the ht3b is so very outdated ve dont even rebuild them. it is cheaper just to sell a new one. i highly recomment an s400. and building an s4 to match your secondary charger will be very benificial for you. but cost more.

The real issue is . the hx dosent move enough air , and if your planning to make real numbers .... the hx35 is not a platform to start from due to limitations that are know to performance shops and mechanics alike .... such as broken shafts, exploding wheel due to over clocking, and just plain out not enough air movement to make anying to brag about ... my 215 w hx35 15.5* timing and the fuel plate MIA ... makes betwen 325-350 @tires ...
start with a clean slate or your just gonna punish it into breaking and then your gonna need 2 more turbo's ..
Honestly a S300 .. 62/64/14 is a great single ... and you can grab an S400 like a 72/84/16 and you will have something to really go with .... and the S300 aint no slouch ... If i did this to my truck ... just wit the s300 400hp would be easy @ tires and still have too much fuel most likley ... or enough to push ET's int the red ... which is my current problem .... Drive pressure with the hx35 can and will cause HG failures, as I have been learning from the guys @ ddp here in Wa. Now i know ... passin it on now
moral of the story ... get something worth starting with or your gonna be fighting with the hodge podge that you thinking of ...
Been through this with DDP on my own truck ... will be buying the s300 in a few weeks my self ...

I like the fact of doing it right the first time but my wallet doesn't. I know there are defiinitly better setups but I don't ever plan on making a whole lot of power so I thought it would be economical to keep the hybrid. But if I win the lottery I'll look into it but btw, if a secondary turbo grenaded
would it trash the primary to?
would it trash the primary to?
