Fuel delivery?

Okay I have a. 96 12 valve cummins. I just got it back from the shop couple weeks ago and now bitch will start soooo hard. I'll have to keep cranking several times and when it starts I let go of the key and it just dies. I give it throttle to. Then after about 5-8 times cranking it starts. Had my fuel filter replaced at the shop. Just seems like I'm sucking air. Once it runs it's okay nothin wrong. Drove it yesterday and shut it off for half hour yesterday and had this problem. And it was 45 degrees out

Ok ... when you turn on the key does your voltage go down on gauge ?
open hood and make sure your fuel solenoid is enguaging ...
also check all your fuel lines and make sure your not seeing any cracks ...

also what is your Idle @ cold in gear ... needs to be about 800-900 rpm

^^gonna have to agree here. I modded my afc about four years ago and the bolts to my solenoid finally worked their way back out and the truck just cranked til the solenoid ended up back in place. then i found it and bolted it back down and no problems since. drained the fuel bowl? tried using the primer? any leaks?

Reach in and push the primer 20 times and look for a leak at the filter housing. I bet you find one. fix it.

OFV leaking? draining fuel back to the tank? fuel pressure?
