tappet cover leak

Is there any way to fix a tappet cover leak without pulling the injector pump and everything on the drivers side of the motor? It's not bad yet, only a few drops when the truck sits for 30-45 minutes, but i would like to fix it.

thats about what i figured. It's not leaking bad, should i wait and do it if it starts leaking worse or if i have to pull the pump, or do it now?

I would take care of it before it becomes a bigger problem ... IMO :tu:

i couldn't ever find exactly where this leak was so i kept looking. I found it today, and it wasn't the side cover after all! There is a plug with an allen head just under the side tappet cover that goes into the oil galley which has an o-ring on it that was leaking. When i started to remove it i found that it was barely hand tight! i tightened it up and i think the leak is cured! :tu::jump::choochoo: I'm very happy!
