I am not a 100% sure if it actually is a short box. its hard to tell because I have never seen it with a stock box on it. heres the history on this truck. I live in BC Canada, family has been in the logging business my whole life. this 12v was originally a first aid truck. so it had a big goofy box thing on the back. like a home made ambulance. now first aid trucks in logging get driven up the mountain to the block they are logging and they sit there in case of emergency. First time I saw this 12valve a couple years ago I knew right away to check the km on it. it had 80xxxkm!!! now it has been turned into a powder truck for the road crew. big custom box on the back for hauling dynamite. its got around 150xxxkm on it now. so my uncle want to buy it off his brother who owns the company. my other uncle. and we want to do a COMPLETE tear down and total rebuild. every nut and bolt brand new etc. I thought it was pretty rare to find that 12valve with 80xxxkm on it. I could be wrong. at the time I wanted it. then forgot about it for a couple years and now its found its way back to me. haha. so that's the history on it.

I would be very surprised if it's a shortbed with that story, but I suppose anything is possible.
