starting issue
I have a 96 12v that drove great no problems at all just drove it about 200 miles before i parked it. Well two weeks later we get a cold front and temps are about 30 degrees. So i go to start it and it starts right up no problem at all until about a minute starts sputtering chocking and rough idling then dies. Go to restart and wont start then batterys died. So next i charged batterys and go to crank it and starts up rougher than rough with alot of white smoke for about 30 seconds. Then it dies again and wont start again for awhile until it sits maybe a hour are so. So far i have changed the 90 degree hose between lift pump and fuel heater. Today i am changing prefilter and fuel filter. I have done a lot of research and believe its not staying primed just weird how ran great before i parked it. Also i was thinking of changing the fuel return rubber hose but how do you go about that its so tight in there. Finally i will do the vice grip test on return line. Any other input appreciated thanks.

Well guys thanks but it may have gelled up but it was in the 30s. I did get it running though i changed fuel filter and prefilter and cleaned it up the o rings were disenagrated. And i also changed the fuel return rubber hose. With all said and done started right up and drove it 300 miles and was 26 degrees and still started right up. But just wondering guys about these. Pics below first one is what the plug for right on top of the 10mm fuel filter bleed screw. And next whats the vent looking deal for the vacuum lines is it suppose to be plugged in some where. Thanks alot.
