ball joints

Has anyone used the XRF ball joints or other front end components? Do they make them to fit my 94 4x4?

I haven't used them, but I'm pretty sure they make them to fit your 94, which should be the same as all the 2nd gen dodges up to 2000? when they flipped the ball joints. I think the reason nobody uses them is the $600 something dollar price tag. You can get 4 new moogs with a lifetime warranty (and made in the USA) for under $300.

thanks. i was just wondering. i found the ones for the 03 and newer trucks but couldn't find them for my 94. I use moog parts under my duramax, the lifetime warranty is nice but i still have to replace upper ball joints, a-arm bushings, and inner and outer tie rod ends about once a year!

That sucks to hear! I just put 4 new ones under mine when I did the Ford knuckle/spindle/hub swap.

Yes XRF makes ball joints to fit a 94'. I have heard about 50/50 on good and bad stats about them.

I have Synergy ball joints in my 98'. $300 for the set and they have been working great so far.

That is the other thing, ball joints on a solid axle should last decades longer than on a lifted IFS truck.

Cool! but are you saying that new moogs and/or factory ones did not, and that only when you put in XRF's the wobble went away?
