check your line from the fire wall to the IP ... your binding ... try to move it to Full throttle with it not runing ... something is outta wack ... Have you recently replace anything ?

Bashore Farms 11-03-2013 11:34 AM

no I haven't replaced anything in awhile. It doesn't stick or anything at all just only goes down about half way and then it feels like when the pedal is to the floor. but its not

4x4manonbroke 11-03-2013 11:42 AM

the hard line is probably binding or your cable is shredding inside ... you will need to pull the cable off and diag wich one is faulty .... chat with ya after church .. :tu:

okay I have a new throttle cable should I put it on?

Possibly one of the throttle return springs broke, friend of mine had it happen and would have to stomp on the pedal to get past the "hard spot"

Bashore Farms 11-03-2013 04:59 PM

that's what it is. I took the cable off and it was fine, then I looked at the return and moved it and it was hard to move so its the spring. Thanks for the help guys. bought a throttle cable for nothing but its good to have spare parts!:tu:

I threw the return spring away about 120,000 miles ago and never had this issue. WTF.

I m new here, but the throttle assy have been on the recall before so I would suggest that you call your nearest dealer ship and give them your vin number and see if you are covered ok good luck
