Urgent!!!!!!!!! Exhaust manifold....

So I got my gauges and I was drilling into the exhaust manifold.... Drill bit got stuck and the only way to get it out was but force which lead to a bigger hole than what I needed for my egt probe....:( is there any adapter I can buy? Or am I sol and have to get a whole new manifold? I've tried the quick steel xtreme.. But fails. I need help ASAP!!!!:scare2:

try to find a coupler tomarrow that will adapt to the current fitting, and drill and tap for the coupler..

I accidentally drilled the hole to big in mine so I set the fitting in the hole and welded it up. Probably not the best thing to do but it has worked fine for me so far (stock power levels though). I have not seen a crack or anything yet.

Any Home Depot or Lowe's should have what you need, it's called a 1/8"NPT - 1/4"NPT bushing. It will allow you to drill and tap the hole to the next size up and still have the probe enter the manifold to the same depth.

I have a '97 manifold if you're interested. Let me know. You can drill/tap larger for a get me by and then do a new manifold.
