MBRP Muffler

So this weekend I tried to remove the muffler from my mbrp 4 inch turbo back exhaust, but I was unable to figure out how to remove the muffler to flip it backwards. Any tips?

If you are going to flip it around, you might as well just straight pipe it. A reciprocating saw, piece of pipe, and a couple Torc-Tite clamps will get it done.

big hammers. the clamps have egged the pipes and they most likely wont just fall apart like new uninstalled pipes. cut it out and straight pipe it.

I might just cut it out and put a muffler delete pipe in. In my commie state of MA I have to have a muffler. Thanks guys

I put a semi style muffler in my truck. Minimal increase in drive pressure and EGT's, but much quieter, if that interests you at all. Or get the big $80 muffler, gut it, and install it. The "commie's" will like the look, but there will still be ample noise.

When u gut a muffper u end up with a tn of resonance in cab ....... real annoying on long drives or pulling :td: imho

Yeah it was unbearable with just the down pipe, but I'm hoping with a little bit more pipe i hope it isn't too loud.
