Yes it is for the idiot light also for a over temp.
Condition.the PCM wants to see trans. Temp
Over 60deg to go into OD ,that's why on really
Cold days it takes a while before the truck will
Go into OD

I got one from napa
Works great
Ok. So i hooked the sucker back up and its 102 out. went into OD and stayed. Ill find out when its cold in the AM.

For me it worked when it was warm. Ill find out if it works when its, cooler...

this morning was still warm, high 70's, 80's. It did not want to stay in OD. in and out. Half way to work, it started to settle. Time for a new sensor.
