1996 dodge diesel transver case
 

ok guys i had my transver case rebuilt and i took it out and when i am in 4 high or 4 low i will here a bad like binding poping noice and my back tires will lock up and skid any idea :argh:

Yea sounds like whoever rebuilt it flucked it up :humm:

sounds like your planitary is in a bind ...... some thing could have come loose and bound its self up in the gears .... reduction should only be affected in Low 4 wheel....

I would pu it up all 4 corners on jack stands and shift into 4 wheel see if they will turn without load ...
