gutted afc not much smoke
Well i bought the truck with a gutted afc and i thought with it gutted smoke is supposed to be almost uncontrollable but if i hit it when i get goin it blows none i noticed the line from the wastegate to the afc was broke i was wondering if that would have anything to do with it. Not trying to blow more smoke but i thought it would im just making sure jothings wrong
i would go find the the parts at a junkyard and put the afc back together then tune the truck right
if the afc is gutted and the pump isnt cranked up and the star wheel isnt cranked its probably not gonna smoke that much
if the line from the wastegate to the afc is broke, it would only matter if the afc was not gutted, a gutted afc uses no boost signal , sounds like everything else is stock or you have a fuel supply issue
if your running a stock plate that is why you have a "smoke" issue, as for the wastegate line that has no effect on your fueling if the afc is truely gutted. it will however play a factor in how long your turbo lives after you get the fueling right.
