Default Weird oil pressure guage?

I'm confused by the oil pressure guage in my 1997. Instead of the norm it reads 0, 275, and 760. What's up with this?

Wow, that's weird, what spot is your gauge located?
That sounds like a coolant temp gauge.

that is strange mine reads 0-40-60. those numbers are even to high for water temp. does it work as your oil pressure? i realize there is no way to judge oil pressure with a guage like that but is it hooked up to the sensor?

Yea it seems to work ok, just wrong numbers. My temp guage is differant as well. It reads 60, 90, 110.

Yes it's Canadian built, but I can't think of anything metric that would be close.

Kilopascals... 60 psi equals 413.6 kilopascals so thats gotta be it, it's abreviated kpa. I'd be swappin the dash outa a usa built truck in.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Just google kpa to psi conversion and you'll find sites where you can enter the reading and it will convert it to psi

Or if you have a smart phone you can get a unit conversion app

wow never woulda figured that one out.... so I'm guessing my temp must be in Celsius? would I be able to just change out the faces instead of the entire cluster? I was thinking of doing gels and LEDs anyway.

Yup it would be celsius, not sure on the faces, possibly but changing the cluster is simple.
