1996 2500 wiper delay problem

Hello all, I have been experiencing problems with my wipers for the last two or so months. They don't work at all in the delay setting, however low and high settings work fine other than the wipers don't return to park whenever I switch out of the low setting to the off/delay settings. Also, at times when I turn my high beams on or off or use my turn signals while my switch is in one of the intermittent settings the wipers will move about 6 or so inches, which leads me to believe that the multi-function switch is the problem. Just checked the wiper fuse tonight and it is fine. If anybody could tell me if I'm correct in going after the multi-function switch or if I have another problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Getting sick of dealing with it lol

most likely have to replace the switch assembly... dodge has always had problems with their wipers.. to this day.. lol

I would have 100% agreed with CR9712V but a few years ago i shotgunned diaged a multifunctions switch for a dodge ram 1500 and . still had the same issue, what it ended up being is a partially broken brush inside the actual wiper motor.. beleive it or not the high and low worked fine. wich was probably due to the ammount of current flow just forcing its way through, i cant say a easy way to diag this but its worth a peak if you can crack the motor before you shotgun a 70 dollar MF switch...
good luck
