My setup

Don't post much on the forums but enjoy reading them :tu:I finally decided to fix my massive timing cover oil leak. The engine is a barely broken in 94 175hp with 600K :humm: While I was there I set timing from stock 11.5 to 18.5 degrees, rotated the barrels clockwise, DV swap with my extra 215 pump; 131 seat / 181 valve(it's the lower flowing combo, I wanted the 131 valves for the 215 pump :tu:), rack plug doubled washer(I'm cheap), AFC mods; flat washer, zeroed the smoke screw and cut arm collar 3/8", no plate, housing full forward. The governor springs were already clicked 4 times. Stock injectors 5x.009 and turbo wh1c, no boost elbow.

Results; timing made engine annoyingly noisy at freeway speeds. Cant smoke when lugging due to smoke screw zero load. Fuel at WOT is more then turbo can clean, rolls coal :yeah:, boost levels at 36psi even with no restriction to wastegate(need to check wastegate operation).

I'm posting this to share the data I've collected in this experiment.
- Timing will make engine noiser, I'm thinking 14.5 degrees next.
- This tells me our pumps can deliver more fuel with stock injectors then our turbos can handle. A lot of these are free mods

Next mods, 1/2 to 1 turn on smoke screw after I figure MPG of this tank, governor spring 12mm washers(I'm cheap).
