so whats the fuel pressure now with the air dogg? and the screw your talking about is called the pre boost screw

MechanicalDiesel 03-06-2013 08:40 AM

Yes its the pre boost screw, it was just called a "smoke screw" in the write up I read on this forum for afc tuning. And I havent hooked back up my pressure gauge cause I need to figure out how im going to install it with the quick connect fuel hoses in place, I heard about a port on the airdog for a gauge with 1/8" npt but I dont recall seeing one. :humm: I would imagine im getting good fuel pressure since the truck is running about the same maybe a slight increase over the stock lift pump. But still no where near what it should be in power and smoke. :ouch:

Have you ever rechecked your inj. timing?

94 12valve 03-06-2013 11:09 AM

did you check the signal line to the afc yet? also if you have not modded the afc foot or at least the washer flip this could also be your issue

MechanicalDiesel 03-06-2013 01:41 PM

Well I just recently set timing and it hasnt seem like it slipped at all, I would check all of this right now if I could. But my truck is parked an hour away from me at my friends since he has a garage. So I only have some weekends to work on it, and I modded the afc with the washer and ground the foot down already.
