Fuel pump problems

I put a new #5 fuel plate on my 12v and now it won't idle and won't accelerate at all went in drive. What did I do wrong???

Also when I took off the fuel shut off solenoid it had two blots on the top and one on the cab side. Why does everything and everyone say there is only two????

The rubber boot on the solenoid is torn. Is that a problem??

I did the same thing when i put my 10 plate in. I had to take the afc housing back off and found that afc foot had bound up, i'm guessing on the governor arm. So i put it back on and made sure that it wasn't hanging up as i slid the housing back on. It fixed it. My truck acted the exact same as ours is now.

I'm going to take it apart again today. Do u have any pics that would really help. Thanks for the answer.

The afc foot won't go up the plate.

How can I get more boost. I'm only hitting 22 psi.

Do you mean, the governor arm won't ride up the plate? And make sure your solenoid is raising up all the way with the key on. Sorry, no pics.

Yeah so it was the solenoid. But now the turbo went out. What the hell happened???? Anybody have a spare turbo laying around??
