TorkTek OFV fuel pressure plug.

Just got one of these from my Truck of the Month contest... I've been calling around a few shops for one of these and almost no one had heard of them.

Finally found one, and put it in this morning. What a difference. Wow. Feels like a brand new motor. Idles smoother, and so much more clean power. Literally feels like i threw a set of injectors in there. My oem unit was actually stuck open I found.

For $45, I suggest everyone put one of these in your truck. Worth every penny. So incredibly happy.

did you get the adjustible one? ofv010..

yes. OFV010 is adjustable one. Set at 30-32 psi as delivered. OFV020 was the biofuel compatible one... I have no idea about what metal pieces inside would be different for biofuel... but since i have no plans to run bio... I saw no point in ordering it...

In my opinion... I would stick with the OFV10. The others are orifice controlled... meaning nothing but hole size controlling your pressure. So until you do go with a super high flow pump, your truck will run like mine did (relatively shitty)

And hell... the way these things are built... it will last forever. Two things I noticed is the ball is a super high chrome, the spring is twice the bulk of the original, and there are 4 banjo holes instead of 2. Buy the OFV10, and when you do buy the expensive fuel pump.... post it online for $40. The orifice controlled ones are half the price anyway. $25 or so.

And yes, I think more people have not heard about them, because most places are not even selling them. I only found one place out of 5 that even heard of them... The rest only had orifice controlled plugs (if any at all)

Again... I highly recommend everyone go get one. What a killer gain for the dollar.

And... not to mention, my carter lift pump (stock) has been clicking and clacking for the better part of 6 months now... thinking it was on its way out, I was preparing to tear it down and rebuild it with new O rings. No clicking now. it just didn't have enough back pressure to operate.

I might just go through my Banjo bolts and drill out the holes now to get a bit more flow.
