fuel plate
hey guys i took the afc apart today on my 95 dump i noticed that it had a diffrent plate number on than every other one ive seen... usualy they are 24242 this plate was tagged 24206 i tryed reading the tag on the motor for pump size but its rubbed off im guessing this pump is not i 180 maybe a 160 not really sure cant find any info on it.. the other thing is if it is a 160 pump should i swap out for the 180 plate.. would it do anything
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- anyone?? noone has a 160 pump they pulled the plate from? |
ok well since this post has 100 views i guess people are readding and not posting..so i guess ill update.. to find out i have a 160 pump so i put the stock 180 plate in and slid it all the way forward.. i can deff feel the diffrence in the skinny pedal i even get a little coal now.. the plates really were not that difrent besides the 180 plate had a deeper cut groove in than the 160..

i never read the number on it...
i just yanked it, ground it and put it back in... and then i got tired of it and yanked it... |
^^lol yeah i was tempted!! i was just goin to slide the stock plate f/f but then i noticed it was a dif plate/ pump all together.. so im guessing wiht the 180 plate f/f ill get that much more juice in the straws! its is my dump so fig i shouldnt go to crazy.. all i need is the trans slippin when im pushin snow
