more brake problems

I replaced all of my brake,..all the lines rotors calipers master cyl. everything whole 9 yrds.. for the moment i have my rear brakes pinched off.. my problem is for some reason i have a spongey pedal and it slowley settles to the floor and the abs brake light will come on for a sec, then instantly shut off again.. from my experience soft pedal means air.. ive ran a good 2 bottles of fluid threw with no progress... and a pedal that slowly falls means a leak... but i have all new everything with no brake residu any were... could this be casue by not haveing rear brakes?? the truck gave me this problem when i first bought it but eventualy settled it self but now its been like this for sometime now.. its actually a little scary to drive.. im allout of ideas could it be a vaccum problem?.. its is a std. master and booster!.. i do not have a hydraboost syst.. any input???... Thanks

Did you install the calipers on the right sides so that the bleeders are on top, I know most people know this but there was a guy on here having problems and that was the problem. How do you have the rears blocked off ? is it possible fluid is getting by ? I'm sure I don't need to tell you thart blocking of the rears isn't the safest thing :w2: :c:

yeah it was last resort i ran out of brake line and so did the parts depot!!.. unbelievable i know!!! but yea bleeders on top, blocked the rear off right at the dist. block on the driverside frame rail rite near the tire simply screwd a plug in...

Well if there's air in the line goin to the back that could explain the spongy pedal. Pull the line off at the master cyl and block it there. :c:
