When you hit brakes steering wheel jerks to right
I have a 1994 dodge ram 2500 and if you hit brakes hard the steering wheel jerks to right it has new pads, rotors, and calipers on it any ideas?

Pinched hose on drivers side more than likely. Put new hoses on and bleed the heck out of them again.

Or possibly a bad tie rod causing it to pull when you brake :c:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Also you could try swappin the tires side to side and see if it still pulls right. :c: |
If you pry open the clamp that holds the flex line clean it out from rust and dirt, and pinch it back to the line that Might help. Seen that happen before, or you might have to re-adjust your rear brakes. It was happening to me, So I readjusted my drum, and the pull to the left was gone.

I was gonna guess a stuck caliper but looks like you replaced them... Did you check the condition of the brake hoses?

No gonna check hoses when it gets out of body shop

Bad caliper, I got a bad one from my local auto store

I too have noticed such kind of steering wheel jerks while hitting the brakes strongly, but it is not frequent in my car, happens rarely. BTW, now I'm too going to check out the brake hoses for fixing this problem.
thanks ! |
