Default trying to break 500 rwhp, what to change.

not sure how completely accurate the hp formulas are but after a few runs at the track i calculated 503hp at the crank and 439hp rwhp. Again not sure how accurate the couple different formulas i used are.

Im trying to break into the 500 rwhp, I know my s300 is on the small size but with my current set up would a 62-64mm compressor get me there or will the 5x.012 sdxs fall short and need to bump up to 5x.014?

Im hoping with more timing and a diffrent charger I can reach my goal without additional fuel. I have a great set up now spools fast, almost nothing but a haze a wot but after the ddp dvs i had to put the plate back in and pull back the fuel to get the turbo to light sooner. egts are very managable and im around 38-40 psi.

Just guessing since im on tapatalk and cant see your sig either but i would suggest both a s364/68/.80t3 gated and 5x14s and 18* timing.

Ya turbo is kinda small to make 500hp on. A 62 is pushing to make 500. Ideal is a 64 and some 5x.018

Yeah or split the difference with some 16s but since hes got dvs already dont ya think 14s would do it? Hes got the plate pulled back. So using 14s would let him use more of the rack travel making it slightly more tunable. True? Altho 5x18s would be more fun!

I would start with more charger. The haze at wot is telling you that you cant stand too much more fuel as is. Like ed said a 62 will make 500 but its going to be a warm 500. Do the charger first then start sliding the plate forward more. Probably going to have to retune the afc. I would keep the timing in the 16* range with your current injectors. If that dosnt get you there you could bump it up to 18-20* but i doubt you see a big change from timing alone. If you still cant get there injectors will be required.

I like to go heavy on the fuel myself... you can always turn the pump down. A set of 5X0.014s and those DV's should get you in the ball park but its going to be warm.

Is it just me or are only the guys from northern Arkansas posting up???
