Does anybody know a good place to find the nerf bars that sit close to the body like rock sliders with step loops.

 

Westin makes some that sit up pretty tight to the cab. I don't like them because our rockers are prone to rust out so easily, and unless you're super careful stepping on the Westin nerf bars your toe will kick the cab getting in. Sounds like that's what you want though?

 

No, I wish I had my welder I would just make a set. It is just a 1 1/2" steel tube that tucks up close to the rocker panel but where you would step up into the truck there is just a stirrup type loop step welded on or two if you have a four door

 

Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about now. Hm. Not sure where to get those.

 

I think you are talking about n-fab. Bought a set for the wife years ago, she loves them and they hold up great.
