i just have my stock 3.5" exhaust gutted... it only cost $100 (w/tip) depending on if you put a tip on... my friends say my truck sounds like a jet taking off when getting on it... while towing its hard to think at 75mph... and kicking it down at bout 30mph next to a car or truck it makes my ears ring if the windows are down... i had the same setup on my lb7 and my friends could here me comin from up to 2 miles depending on the day

I had an 03 Dmax with 4" Straight Pipe and it sound great. The 03's didn't have Cats so I just went with a 4". We have a good 4" system that includes enough pipe so if down the road you want to remove the Cat then you can.
