Any experience with Superchips Flashpaq?
 

Driving one of my company's fleet trucks while mine is at the body shop. '06 3500 huge cab dually, bone stock. Well, it was. Now it has a Flashpaq on it, because it was a turd and I couldn't get one full day of driving out of a tank of fuel (I drive 1300+ miles a week). Can't do anything crazy, because when it goes back in the fleet the animals that work for us will just blow it up. Boss didn't want to spend much money, since it isn't anyone particular's truck. I was able to get the Flashpaq at cost, which is ridiculously cheap, so that's what I went with.

Anyway, this truck doesn't have gauges and never will. It isn't going to get trans upgrades, an exhaust or so much as a high flow filter. I just got the tuner today, spent some time messing with different canned tunes, tried to tell what was going on through the datalogger, but without any EGT sensor on the truck it's tough. This truck tows a lot and tows heavy. The main reason I was able to talk the boss into it was better MPG, so I'm wondering what's safe, what will get better mileage, and how much compromise there is. Anyone running this tuner with gauges to see what's really going on with each tune? I can't even see boost levels without a conversion chart for kPa to boost psi. The descriptions for each tune in the instructions is pathetic. Basically, don't tow anything on performance or fuel saver, no more than 6,000lbs on tow performance, but nothing about MPG with anything but the self evident fuel saver map. I know this is an extremely unpopular tuner, but I'm hoping there are some people out there who have put some miles on them and made some observations.
