EGR Delete
 

i installed a egr delet plate on my 05 lly and it threw an egr suffication code and went into limp mode. is their a way to over ride this code? what will i need were can i get it and what should it cost?

i guess i must be lucky cause ive had mine blocked for a long time and it didnt throw any codes.

Some Fed. trucks won't throw codes. Some programmers will block codes like PPE Xcellerator or install a finger stick it.

i removed my cat as soon as i got my truck in 2008 and i have been driving it for two years without a code. i just ordered an EGR blocker and am crossing my fingers it dont throw a code and i can get it in with no problems

ya i pulled my cat out a few years back and didnt get a code but as soon as i blocked the egr it threw a code. but good luck.

There are a lot of tuners that will allow you to block the codes.

I would just do some research on the different ones and then chose the one that best suits you.
They also come in very handy for other things such as reading and clearing other codes should they arise.
