Lift Pump???

do i need a lift pump??? i want to get my truck more fuel... i was wondering if you put lift pumps on dmaxes... im completely confused right now... i plan to run twins in the future and i want to get the fuel system set up for it???

Stock, you don't need it. You said you were going to run twins, so might as well up the fuel system. I'd go for an Air Dog system, best filtration and lift pump all in one shot. :U:

which would you sugest... i was lookin and there is a pf100 pf150 and a pf200??? how hard is the install???

Whats wrong with Fass? :pca1:

2500HeavyDuty 01-21-2009 12:18 AM

they use hydraulic filters i hear :humm:

2500HeavyDuty 01-21-2009 12:20 AM

lift pump would help in holding higher RP and extending the life of the filters.

FASS is a great product and they stand behind their product/dealers. IIRC didn't the father/son team from FASS split up and start AIR DOG??

isnt the father the air dog guy while the son is with fass...i heard it got kinda nasty and the son kinda took his fathers idea...dont quote me on this but ive heard it more than once...while i dont have a d max (thank god, haha), i got an air dog and couldnt be happier...smaller, less noise, and cheaper...cant complain with that...:rocking:

Red_Rattler 01-22-2009 10:20 PM

Yes son has Fass and dad has AirDog. I don't know what caused the split but I'm sure it wasn't good.

posting in the correct area would help you get better awsners 5.9L 24V Bombs (Aftermarket) - Diesel Bombers

this is the dmax area of the site, but from what i speculate 150gph wouldnt hurt with either fass or airdog

ya if you want a all in one unit the fass or airdog is the way to go if you are just looking for a lift pump then I would do the PPE or you could go with the Edelbrock 1792 I have both on my truck they both work great

Diesel Dawgs Performance 03-03-2009 03:53 PM

Raptor 150 or FASS HPFP if you don't want filters
