I completely removed my egr motor and cooler, tuned out the codes with EFI. PPE makes a nice delete kit.

I got mine blocked and fingered on Monday. I had the intake horn off last night when I was putting my boost fitting in and WHAT A MESS!!!!
How do you go about removing all of it completely? Use an LB7 horn? |

Were can I find a finger stick for a 2005 lly
On my 2005 lly duramax I installed the egr block off plate and it threw a code and a check engine light. Will the finger stick get rid of this problem. Were can I get one and what would be a good price for one?

Hey guys, Ive been doing quite a bit of research on my LLY (hopefully not too late). Anyhow, Ive got 98,000 on my truck...turbo back with downpipe, juice with attitude and a Afe pod filter...and I just read last week about the EGR block plate and PCV reroute.
Ive got a block plate coming in the mail and the components for the reroute sitting in my garage. Im bummed I didnt read about this more soon. Is there anything else I should do when i complete these mods in the next few days? Or be worried about for that matter? I havent had a problem with the truck as of yet. My truck is FE9 so I hope it wont throw a CEL, but if it does I have a PPE tuner available. Thanks for the help. Brandon |

I did mine at 80k. There was sooty crap when i removed it. The soot took alot to get cleaned out. Also don't wear anything nice. Soot doesn't come off very easily.
Now with emissions coming out here. I decided to weld up the ports in the manifold. |
