Did it work?

Worked Great... There was talks on other boards about a flash fix for this issue that when you re-loaded a programer it takes out the flash and you have the issue again. I had no problems though and like I said they replaced hard parts in mine.
|
My 07 does that once and awhile. I thought maybe it hap pended more at low speeds, you know around town, shift up then down then up again relatively quickly.

:U: |
took mine in right before Christmas, changed the solenoids and filter. worked for about 2000 miles and now doing it again.
|
My 04.5 used to do that but I installed the Rokktech sensor and the hunting went away. I didn't know there was a TSB for it.
|
i took mine in to get the tsb done and they pulled up the warranty sheet for the stuff that has already been done on mine and the solenoid has already been changed. There was a bad tranny leak right after I bought the truck and that was what they changed. It has still shifted like crap since I got it. No change. Guess I just gotta do a shift kit and torque converter and keep trying stuff.

Changed the celanoid in mine and the 1-2 hunt went away....:U:

I noticed that mine does it with the Smarty loaded, but seems to quiet down when it isn't loaded up. Maybe it's just the nature of a Smarty? :)

I've had that problem for a while. After the transmission service it went away but came back after about 2000 miles. Currently the truck does it..and I just figured I'd correct it by giving it a little more throttle than usual. That trick didn't work. So now I'm out of my warranty and not sure if I'll try and tackle the above myself, just leave it until it's a serious problem or pay someone to do it. Knowing me I'll just forget about it again in a few days until it becomes a problem :argh: Thanks for the above info. I need to cut and paste it for future reference.:rocking:

Well there is a TSB out for it so warrenty or not they fix it for free.
|
As for his problem even though they have a TSB out about it being he is out of warranty they will not fix it for free. Many times they need to replace parts in the trans to fix the 1-2 shift problem, the parts are free only under warranty.
|
Warranty's suck! the Dealerships here in dallas suck with tranny's I had a gas truck in the shop for over a month trying to get them to warranty the tranny with only 33k miles

:hi: Stay around for a while! |
I had a simular humting issue and it all but went away when i installed Suncoast VB and TC. It was allways there under light load with stock tranns. With Suncoast parts it only shows up every once and a while and when it does its hardley noticable.

Any updates on those who had success on this fix?
|
had mine do it a few times but i learned to just put foot in it and no hunting

My truck's done this for a while, seems to be worse lately, maybe it's the cold weather. Very annoying. I'm gonna call the stealership and see what they say. 43k miles on my truck. Thanks for the TSB info!
