Yes- the Swedish guy who tries to sound German.
My now ex got a New Beetle Convertible when they first came out, the salespeople told me they flat out would not put a diesel in those, because "it's loud and it stinks". I tried so hard to get her to not buy one, but it was just too cute. Nothing worse than being a 6' bearded guy in flannel riding in the right seat of an NBC with techno blasting- and she wonders why I kicked her out. -

I just bought a gas Jetta so I could stop putting so many Traffic miles on the truck.. Have to say I am impressed with it.

It gets 18 to 22 MPG mixed driving and 29 on the highway.

For 18,700 it came with bluetooth, ipod dock and 17" smoked alloy rims... It is pretty fast and has that 6 speed tectronic trans that you can shift like a manual if you want. I can fit about 4 or 5 bodies in the trunk and a 6' person can sit in the back seat.

Put in the black bezel headlights, and the black grill and tinted the side windows... turned out looking pretty cool, alot better than all that chrome up front..

Makes for a great round the town ride... -

Gerry, for that amount of money you get in Germany pretty nothing than basic. Pretty good deal! -
