Purchased a stock lift pump relo kit years ago. The small hose that goes from the filter housing to the VP has cracks all over it. It can't be more than 2 years old. Is this something to worry about? Should I replace it?... JOIN NOW TO REMOVE TRACER

866-446-1043 As far as cracking, the external hose cranks are not too much of a concern, however, swelling of the hose and or liner cracks are. Have you or are you running bio or veg oil? Both of these speed up hose failures. Dave |

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to this thread. These just appear to be surface cracks in the blue rubber portion. No swelling or any other symptoms. Sounds like I shouldn't worry about it. I can always purchase another piece of hose and throw it in the truck I guess, just in case. BTW - I've never ran anything but #2 in her.
