A spacer will make the truck hook harder. When touching like that they tend to "float" more than with a 1.5"-3" spacer in them.(past expierence) Truck look very mean like that though.

yea i cant wait to get the wheels painted black and get them mounted on for a pull. no spacer, this is a budget built truck, i dunno how well they will work but i do know that it looks mean and i will only run them at brush pulls that allow it.
