I have used water/methanol for years. But have been running into oil contamination problems with the new ultralow sulphur diesel. Some of the new diesel contains a significant amount of water in the fuel, and uses some exotic alcohol to keep the water in suspension. As soon as I start injecting my water/methanol with that fuel the power drops, so it is easy to spot when you get a tank. Just turn off the water system until you run it out, then try the next tank.

It does not seem to be isolated to any particular brand, but Citgo seems to always cause a problem.

Me to greyghost. I am one fo those do it yourselfers so I am going to try and make it by pieces.
Usually ends up costing me more in the long run though.

The thing I have been told by buddies that have high hp trucks is that when you use these "drugs" is that you had better upgrade your heads and studs otherwise you can lift the head rather easily. Just my$.02

I used a kit for a while and saw NO changes in power or egts. I found a thread on DTR about how to build your own kit instead of buying it all at one place. cost me about $120. If you look around you can find the same exact stuff as snows, only difference is their stickers aint on there. Im thinking the reason i didnt see a difference is maybe i need larger nozzles. Ive got a propane kit a buddy had on a dmax and im puttin that on my next truck to see if i like it more.
