Galaxy 88
peaked & tuned, has many built in features, echo, talk back, roger beep, dial a watt, etc..
Road King Mic
Mossy Oak Camo Covers (instead of stock black)
Changed face plate to silver instead of the factory black (makes it a lot easier to read)
Wilson, Trucker 5000 antenna mounted on top of my headache rack
I have a 500 watt box but have never used it in my truck. I had it setup in an older van I used to have and loved it. I have been concerned with running it in my truck as I have been told it would interfere with the electronics in my truck. Has anyone had any experience with this?
I used to have a Galaxy Saturn base station with a 1500 watt box. Ran an Antron 99 on a 50 ft push up pole for local talk and a set of Moonraker 4 beams on a 100 ft rohn tower for long distance. That was a lot of fun, especially with the flat side of the beams. -

It would be even funnier if you key up and say something like "I see you masturbating"--THAT would get people looking around fo' sho'. -

I've got a Cobra 29 something-or-another. Had it sitting around for about 2 years, so I haven't had a chance to mess with it. Where is everyone finding these things for them? LED's, faceplates, mods, etc.? -
