Default What's Best Diesel (good power and MPG) to pull 15,000lb cross country???

Looking for the right truck for the right job. Need to pull a 15,000lb trailer cross country. Looking for good power and MPG as good as it can get. Open to all suggestions of models 2006 or older. Limited buget here. Thanks!!

Look for f350 dually with the reliable 7.3. They can be a little pricy but can be found.

Yea I get probably upper 20s in my 7.3 and with 277k it's still driven daily

You could get a 94-97cummins dually, it will get anywhere from 10-14 mpg stock pulling 15,000 pounds.price is pretty fair. preferably you should get a manual transmission for what your pulling.
