Hey guys im thinking about going with a southbend clutch. Im not sure if i want to go with a dd or a single disc. The only upgrades on my truck right now are aem cold air intake, smarty programmer, 5" MBRP Exhaust. But i would like to get up around the 600HP range. I dont do any sled pulling or heavy hauling. This is just a daily driver that i want to make pretty fast and maybe do a drag run here or there. So any help would be greatly appreciated thanks -
you can have the clutch built the way you want. I went with the dd south bend clutch its a pain in the a$$ to back up with the trl because it all out or all in so it bounces bad, makes you think your going to snap your u-joints -
coyropin, I've found if you put the truck in 4hi it helps out quite a bit. but you're right it does make the thing a bit jumpy and I've found that mine grinds a little bit goin into reverse now from time to time. -
With no sled pulling or boosted launches a Single disc clutch will be fine!
Give me a call! We'll be glad to help you find the correct clutch for you! -
