your using a paint sprayer for like a house?

i run my spray gun (hvlp) at about 35-40 psi which is what my gun runs at. as mixture though, it should say on the can what the reduction rate is. normally they will run at 2:1, 3:1, or 4:1. but i dont know if that will change being sprayed through a house sprayer

the gun and nozzle size is going to have alot to do with it. start out with a 1:1 ration and spray a little bit on something and see if its globby or chunky or just too thick coming out, and if it is, reduce it a little more and so on until it feels nice. i dont remember right off the top of my head but i believe it was about a 2:1 ratio i liked with my gun. but the gun, nozzle size, type of paint, etc etc all come into play.
