Default Few Vids of My Recent Hooks

Havent been on here in awhile but the truck is up and running again and im attempting to get it down the track.

To keep it short and sweet an S400 turbo was added, and e locker alot of other fab work was done. Theres a lot of different things that have gone into the truck, i can explain if needed.

Tires are Bridgestone Dueler AT 695s that so far I have been very impressed with.

I run with Badger Truck Pullers Association in the super street diesel class. Our rules are unlimited single, 3.0 twins. Driveline has to be from a 1 ton or smaller truck but doesnt need to be brand specific. DOT tires and tons of safety stuff are the basic rules.

I was a little behind schedule at first because i bent my rods. Then the first pull came up and I was all gung ho to get it running back late in may. The motor was just a block and crank on friday night when parts showed up and saturday afternoon it was int eh truck and running but had some electrical issues and a coolant leak.

Due to having to wait 3 weeks for a gasket i missed the next pull as well but finally got everything good to go for the next pull.

This pull was in Union Grove, WI. I forgot to put my DSP5 switch back to the 0 position so it was running a crappy DD tune instead of my pull tune. SO it pulled fuel between shifts which is why the truck jerked so bad. On my second attempt i managed to walk it out to 287' still dont know the placing though. My weight bracket broke as a result of the jerking and the exhaust fell off.

Here is the video Im in the middle of it

The next hook was the next night in Deerfield. I got it to run strong with the right tune but my exhaust came off, traction bar bent and i tried hitting 4th and it bogged down. I ended up 5th.

For the next pull I redid my exhaust, built new heavier traction bars, fixed the weight bracket and painted the hitch and weight bracket. This pull was in Mackville at the mackville nationals. I went 83' Right off the line I blew out the drivers side halfshaft and intermediate shaft. The front end is dissassembled on my bench and ill be getting parts tomorrow. As a result of this I missed two points hooks the next day which was a bummer.

Heres the video im the first puller.

Hopefully ill get it to run down the track this weekend with no issues.

Wow. I GOT IT TO RUN!!!

Nothing broke and it ran smooth. The first hook was very smooth and it ran nice. 293' geared for Hot Farm Tractors which is a little bit tougher to pull. It held 24,000psi of rail pressure down the track.

2nd Hook i added some timing and fuel to the tune and ran it again but it didnt seem to wind out as much im sure a lot of it was the track as the moisture tarted to come out later on. 295' sled was set the same.

Overall it ran good and i was very happy with it.

As always heres the video
