Rocker Rust
Well it's been four weeks and still no exhaust manifold. Ordered it from anything diesel off ebay. I have been it contact with them 4-5 days ago and they asked if the shipping address was right and i told them yes and no response . I think I got hosed
Anyway the truck is off the road till the manifold,the steering column,ram air hood and the rust on the rockers get fixed. So I,m a little angry right now
If anyone has any pointers on what to do about the rocker rust I would be greatful

For sure you want to get it back down to bare metal! I had to do the doors on my 97 and 2000. Its just a poor dodge design right from the factory. The weep holes in the bottom of the doors were partially or fully plugged with glue from the factory which made the doors retain mosture and rot from the inside out.... But yea, get rid of the cancer make it nice and clean and paint the exposed areas with POR-15. Worked like a charm on my two trucks!

If you are using POR-15 you dont want to take it to bare metal. POR-15 needs the rust to be there.
