Default Well The Tranny In The 06 Is Gone...

Lots of slipping, random shifting, and hanging in gears (not up or down shifting) with 7000 lbs behind it it takes 1/2 a mile to get to speed for all the slippage and 2nd gear was non-existant... But in its last stand of courage it did drag the hunting truck to the stealership so that I would have a ride home...

Yea, SW5 will do that to a stock auto..... Get one on warranty get a Goerend torque converter and built valve body and be done with it..... Dave is a great guy he'll work with you 100% to get the right transmission for your application...... Goerend Transmission Incorporated -

Yeah Dave will get a call when this one bites the bullet... Don't really want to spend the $$$ and the dealership is gonna warrenty this one out so it's all good. And now that we have the 89 I think this one will catch a little less hell . -

from the bell housing to the output shaft and from the dip stick to the tranny pan it was completely stock. -

They are replacing everything 100% no questions asked. Apparently when we got some work done on it at another dealership, they screwed the whole thing up and it basically ate itself.

We had been having problems for some time now and it had nothing to do with the smarty.

I haven't minded though... I've been driving the 89 all week. LOTS of fun, but no radio... That's the only crappy part. I have really enjoyed finding the idiot in the left lane doing 10 mph under the speed limit because they are blabbing away on their cell phone and filling their entire car up with black smoke. That definitely makes up for the lack of a radio! -

maybe your lead foot ate it up.... maybe if you back off of it any drive like a normal human you wouldnt have that problem...
o by the way i still havent seen ya at a stoplight yet... -

i have have a 04 chevy duramax 2500HD 4x4. it has the LLY diesel in it. i also have the banks 6 gun, 4in exhaust from turbo back "with a muffler delete pipe", it also has a cold air intake and a 3in body lift.
