i made myself a grid delete out of a 12 valve grid heater/intake maifold combo


first i too the intercooler boot clamp off, then took dipstick bolt off, and moved the dipstick out of the way, then i removed the gir heater wire, and then i took the remaining 5 bolts out of the intake horn.





nect, i removed the injectors, removing all 6 line nuts (19mm) from the pump first, then i took the two intake manifold bolts holding the injector lines in place out (10mm). then i moved to the passenger side, and removed the 6 line nuts (19mm) off the injectors.


next, i removed the rest of the intake manifold bolts (10mm), and removed the manifold


next u scrape the old gasket off the head, (and the manifold if there is any stuck to it if ur reusing it)

then u put the new gasket down, and install the intake manifold and put all the bolst (10mm) into the manidold, that were removed at this stage in removal



next, set the injector line back onto the engine, i always get just a few threads on each one started befor tightinging them all down. then tighten the injector line nuts (19mm). i tighten all down tight besides for injectors #1 and #2 at the injector, to bleed the air out of the lines when starting. then install the two other bolts into the manifold, that hold the injector lines still.


finaly, reinstall the intake horn, tighten all 4-5 bolts (10mm) down tight, then put the dipstick back into position, and install the 10 mm hold down bolt. then tighten up the the boot to the intake horn.

so thats my problem, i didnt think it was light of a green when i bought the can, but i wasnt goin to throw the can away, and had to put them back on so, i went ahead and sprayed them -
