I let Wal-Mart do mine! Have a lifetime balance and rotation and I didn't buy the tires from them.
![]() If I had to do it myself, go and borrow a 20ton floor jack. - |

Works great! Just use it to get it up to the jackstands... No problem for it though...

I keep a 12 ton bottle jack in the truck for the truck and trailers both. Once you put bigger tires or the lifts on these trucks normal jacks are worthless. Wish I could find a good heave screw type jack though. These hydraulic jacks just aren't dependable enough to trust when your not around a shop. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. -

I use a 3.5 ton floor jack I bought at Sears for $99 on sale. It came with two jack stands and a creeper. I basically lift the rear at the diff, put the jack stands under the rear axle, one on each side, and lift the front one tire at a time. It takes a while, but it beats sitting around waiting while I am paying someone to do it. I don't know how things work were you guys are, but I could easily spend two hours to get something like that done because mechanics move like molasses in January up here. I look at it this way: I could sit around for two hours or more and pay for it, or I could use my jack and be done in under an hour for free. -

3 ton floor jack and jackstands. I put a stand under each front corner and then lift the rear right at the pumpkin.
