Default DIY 2nd gen oil/fuel change

here is my DIY service

first off, i pulled the plug and drained the oil
my oil pan uses a 10mm alanhead. pull the plug, be sure not to drop it in the oil pan, especialy if the oil is hot. certain pans, if u drop it into the pan, it will block the hole and cause it to over fill.

next, while the oil is draining, i go ahead and pull the air intake tube off, this is not nessecary, but does make it easier to get to the fuel filter.

then i pull the filter off, and make sure the rubber gasket comes off with it

then i take and fill the new oil filter up completly

and put fresh oil on the new rubber gasket

then myself, i write the milage down on the filter

then put the new filter on tight

next i put the air filter tube back in

then i put the oil filter plug back in

then i fill the motor with oil

then i start the truck, check for leaks, shut it back off and check the oil level
