Imagine a small, glowstick-sized tube of translucent plastic with a couple AA's inside and LED's all around it. You could sell an easily-carried roll with five or six of them in it, and whenever somebody is working in small dark places one could lay out these glow sticks. They'd be much smaller than the "LED Lanterns" that people sell, and would flood a lot better than a modified flashlight. One side of the glowstick could be flat and without LED's, so you could set the glowstick down and it wouldn't roll. And they'd probably have cross-market appeal with anybody that wants a reuseable glowstick.


They could also be used as a reuseable flare.
