Default FS 1999 F-250 SD 4x4 ext cab

puttin this out there. thinking of clearing up some debt and all since i got a mini-me on the way.....

1999 F-250 Extended cab 4x4 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel Automatic 130K miles

the good

leather interior, power windows and locks key-less entry. 4 door truck. has new, less than 2K miles, 315/70/16 Mud Star tires, 3" Trail Master leveling kit with Trail Master SSV shocks at all 4 corners. has new re-manned injectors from Pensacola Injection, new Motorcraft glow plugs, new valve cover gaskets, 4" exhaust with 6" SS tip, has muffler and a muffler delete pipe, muffler is installed as of now. has an OLD ATS 50HP chip in it. gives it a little more power but nothing to write home about. Pioneer CD player, vent visors, bug deflector, Delta diamond plate tool box (one that sits in the bed not on the bed rails). diamond plate bed rails that aren't installed as of yet, gooseneck ball hitch in the bed, NEW less than 3K miles brakes all around 4 new rotors and new pads including new emergency brake shoes, has Westin step bars, Quadzilla Monster air intake, a/c, heater etc all works. also including a 5" drop pitman arm that isn't installed yet. also have Iss-Pro gauges, pyro, boost and tranny temp, 3 gauge pillar pod, not installed yet but will come with it. has a new steering stabilizer and rear u-loint too.

the bad

the center console has some wear, the 4wd doesn't work as of now. it has ESOF (electronic shift on the fly) and Ford told me the GEM module was bad as it wasn't getting power to the 4wd switch. i looked on Aldata and did the test and sure nuff it isn't. i have a friend with a used GEM module i am going to try in it and see if it works. if it gets power and still doesn't work it could be the 4wd control module or the 4wd shift actuator on the transfer case.

if i keep the truck and the GEM module dosen't work then i'll convert it to a manual shift transfer case and put the shifter through the floor like a work truck. i think that a glow plug relay might be bad as some times it dosen't like to start in the cold and the block heater cord is MIA. i should have a new one soon though.
