im wanti a quote on what you think would be the best TC for me. the truck is my daily driver, wanting to be pushing 500hp by sometime next year, pulls the occasional trailer, will see time pulling about 2-3 times a year, maybe 1 drag race a year. this is for the truck in my sig.

Many companies offer a lifetime warranty. But it's only for select parts in the TC.

If your TC is slipping, you most likely have too low line pressure as the TC clutch is the strongest in the transmission. A TC alone would not be an advisable investment. If it's a low mileage unit and in otherwise good condition, a TC/ VB combo will be safe to 400+. For 500, I would get a full trans for the warranty of the entire unit along with the security of knowing everything is right.

You don't need a triple disc for that power level. A single has been shown to hold over 800HP in a properly set up trans. If you are abusing the TC with drag racing or sled pulling, the natural slip factor of the triple on engagement will help save parts.

I sell DTT transmissions and parts. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Biged,

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Big Ed, majority of the people around me like to run suncoast or garrin... some people run ATS 5 disc converter but really prefer the suncoast TC. i know they run somewhere around 1200.00 and the ATS runs around 1400.00-1500.00 if i'm not mistaken. i would also go with fishin2deep.... a TC and VB combo would be a HUGE plus+ i would reffer you to suncoast or garrin... very good product! and they also stand behind it!!! -
