ok so heres the deal....im a marine, im in iraq, and on my base there is a battalion of Iraqi Army soldiers....the Iraqi soldiers have a 2006 F-350 6.0L. they came to our Motor T shop today while i was fixing a piece of gear and said they had water in the fuel. well im no mechanic, i had them drain the fuel tank, which they did, but they still have water in the lines, i looked at it, the fuel going into the filter bowl is almost like a, coffee with cream color, i need to find out if its possible to drain the lines, or are they pretty much f#kd? any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated, not only by myself, but also by our Iraqi brothers-in-arms. -

hmm, you can disconnect the supply lines to the FF and the tank and blow them out, change the FF and re-prime the system. -

what site you at??? Korean Village, Al Asad??? I'm down at Cedar right now and if i was closer i would help ya out........
your best bed it to flush the lines completey, replace the fuel filter, and when they refill with DF2 dump about 2 quarts of tranny fluid into the tank along with filling the new filter with tranny fluid......help clean the injectors a little bit...... - |
