Looking at getting one...cant really afford it but want one anyway.....

Looking hard at the:

Pentax K200D: Pentax K200D Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review

or a Fuji S100fs (which is not an SLR): FujiFilm FinePix S100fs Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review

YES, Yipee a topic I really know!! I personally, like Minolta! Do ur research & find something thats easy to use & u can upgrade lenses easily & CHEAPLY!! Some makers make the cameras brand specific! Thats why I have Minolta! But, my biggest most expensive camera is SLR 35mm!! But, I also have a Konica-Minolta digital. -

Thats really why I have been looking at Pentax and Sony - the Image Stabilization is built into the camera and not the lense. There are MILLIONS of used lenses that can be had for a reasonable amount of money. Im not interested in film cameras though. Sure, I would like a Nikon or Canon but the lenses are $$.

The Nikons are amazing
take amazing pictures
used a Nikon d40x this weekend filled up 6 gigs of cards with it

Yea...Sony can use Minolta lenses...I get the hookup from Sony for working at circuit city. -

I like the Sony. I've looked once or twice, but really don't need one right now.

If I had to choose this minute. I'd go with the Sony Alpha 350. -

ack i resally should look at the dates more -
