I'm thoroughly convinced that the organizations that really run the world have no friggin interest in improving mileage and lowering dependence on petroleum products. Those bulls*t "do good for earth" commercials by ExxonMobil, BR and Citgo are perpetuated to merely appease the masses of sheeple -

You have point there except that I think people are finally waking up to the fact that hybrids suck ass and that diesel is the new premium fuel! At nearly $6 a gallon here it sure feels like it. -

It is like that here now. Regular unleaded is $1.349 and diesel is around $1.469 a litre. Well, ok, not 30% but it still hurts. -

And to think when fuel was cheap i was going to buy one in 2001! ouch. I wouldn't own it today that is for sure. 300 km on a 130 L tank = really BAD mileage... -
