just about any 4 inch would be best. I didnt have a problem with the MBRP when installing it.

What size cab/bed is your truck -

x2 on the MBRP.. I have one on my LBZ, and I love it.. awesome quality, and it was easier to put the new exhaust in that it was to take the old one off.. I would reccommend the MBRP, but I dont have any expierence with any other exhausts, so there may be a better system.. -

Its a down pipe back system (referred to turbo back by most people) because there is only one company that i know of that makes a replacement down pipe but its huge and its really only for if your making well over 500hp at the wheels.

The downpipe back system replaces the whole system up the to turbo downpipe right at the flange.

The lly's and lbz's have a down pipe replacement made by diamond eye but they don't make them for lb7's. It is not necessarily needed the system you are looking at is good.

Since u have an extended cab and lookin at a mbrp system, u will have to cut nine inches off of one pipe since it was made for a crew cab. And you would have a 18 inch pipe laying around since it would be for if you were to have a long bed. atleast that was the wait it was for my 5 inch exhaust from MBRP -

I had the MBRP duals and loved them. I also had the magna flow "flow pro" it was a nice system also but man was it loud. I ended up putting a 24" muffler on it to tone it down before I took it out for the MBRP.

If I were you, I would take it somewhere and have the tip welded on, get the tip that does not bolt on, rather welds on.

This is my LLY but I had the same set up on my LB7 and it looked exact.

Here is the MBRP and the Pro Flow on top and another picture of the welded MBRP on bottom.

My 4" MBRP system had a piece in it for EC and another piece for CC.. so with the system that I got, you wouldnt have to cut anything.. -

MBRP does make a down-pipe kit for an extended cab short box. No cutting required just bolt it on. Magnaflow does not however, theirs is only for a crew cab short box. With Magnaflow you will need to take 8 or 9" off. You might also have a problem with the spare tire being close to the exhaust... -
